The Honourable Christine Baudouin

Madam Justice Christine Baudouin attended Collège Stanislas in Montreal. She holds a bachelor's degree in law from Université de Montréal and a master's degree specializing in bioethics from McGill University. She also completed two certificates in negotiation and conflict mediation at Harvard Law School. She was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1993.

Justice Baudouin was appointed to the Superior Court of Quebec (Montreal) in May 2017. Prior to her appointment, her main areas of practice included civil law and health law. She was also a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of Université de Montréal and served on several Quebec Bar committees.

Judge Baudouin put her expertise in bioethics at the service of the public good by sitting on the Ethics Committee of the Centre universitaire intégré de santé et de services sociaux de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal and on the Research Ethics Board of McGill University. In addition, she was actively involved with charitable organizations addressing autism, mental health and the needs of vulnerable women.

Madam Justice Baudouin was appointed to the Court of Appeal of Quebec on November 18, 2020.
