The Court begins to sit at 9:30 a.m. (unless otherwise specified).
For counsel, the wearing of a gown in conformity with the Rules of the Court of Appeal is obligatory.
In civil matters, in accordance with section 45 of the Regulation of the Court of Appeal of Quebec in Civil Matters, a party who becomes aware of a circumstance (such as discontinuance (art. 213 C.C.P.), transaction (arts. 217 and 220 C.C.P.), bankruptcy or other circumstance) that terminates or suspends the appeal shall inform the clerk without delay.
