Rolls - Appeals on merits

  • The Court begins to sit at 9:30 a.m. (unless otherwise specified).
  • For counsel, the wearing of a gown in conformity with the Rules of the Court of Appeal is obligatory.
  • In civil matters, in accordance with section 45 of the Regulation of the Court of Appeal of Quebec in Civil Matters, a party who becomes aware of a circumstance (such as discontinuance (art. 213 C.C.P.), transaction (arts. 217 and 220 C.C.P.), bankruptcy or other circumstance) that terminates or suspends the appeal shall inform the clerk without delay.
