Service and notification of pleadings in civil matters

On June 1, 2022, the Minister of Health and Social Services, Christian Dubé, announced the lifting of the state of health emergency. Thus, since this date, Order No. 4267 issued by the Chief Justice of Quebec and the Minister of Justice on March 27, 2020, which allowed the service of pleadings in civil matters by technological means, is no longer in force.

Consequently, please note that the service and notification of pleadings by technological means made as of June 2, 2022 must comply with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure.
