Opening Hours of the Offices of the Court of Appeal on Friday, June 23, 2023, and Friday, June 30, 2023

On Friday, June 23, 2023, and Friday, June 30, 2023, the offices of the Court of Appeal will be closed. These days are non-working days for purposes of the collective agreements in force at the Ministère de la Justice, but are not legal holidays.

On these days, as regards the Court’s seat in Montreal, parties or their lawyers may file Court of Appeal pleadings at the following location:

Montreal Courthouse
1 Notre Dame Street East
Civil Court Office, Room 1.122

As for the Court’s seat in Quebec City, parties or their lawyers should contact the Court office at 418-649-3401. If necessary, a staff member will arrange to be present for the filing of the pleading.

In addition, we remind you that it is possible to file originating appellate pleadings in civil, criminal, extradition and penal matters by means of the Digital Office of the Court of Appeal (DOCA).
