The Court of Appeal recently rendered two judgments in which it examined the question of the calculation of the appeal period in divorce matters, on the one hand, and in bankruptcy and insolvency matters, on the other hand. The rulings in question are Droit de la famille — 222215, 2022 QCCA 1719, and Bryant c. Benjamin, 2023 QCCA 1021. Parties and counsel filing appeals in such matters are encouraged to consult these decisions.
