November 27, 2018

On November 30, Justice Marie St-Pierre will step down as a judge of the Court of Appeal of Quebec.

"It is with regret that the Court of Appeal of Quebec announces the retirement of the Honorable Marie St-Pierre. A renowned jurist, she will have brought wisdom and knowledge to the Court. Always available to represent the Court at a multitude of events, she has contributed to its influence in an exceptional way. Her views have always been characterized by a great deal of analytical clarity and a deep sense of justice. We have precious memories of her presence among us, " said Chief Justice Duval Hesler.

Justice St-Pierre was appointed to the Court of Appeal of Quebec on April 5, 2012. She previously sat on the Superior Court for 10 years, from 2002 to 2012.
